I've got two 360s and two PS3s, so having the Edge will be nice because I won't have to move the XIM3 around now and I can have a dedicated m&k in both rooms. :)

I have just an xbox... So just the ballistics curve thingymabobber isnt worth it but if I get a ps3 I will def consider it. Also not having a standard trans at all kinda freaks me out, although it sounds like the team is cooking stuff up to get around that.

Anyone wth a ps3 should def be waiting on this product though.

I have been using the xim3 for 6 weeks only on the ps3 and havent had any complaints been very happy but got a chance to try it on the xbox 360 last night and now i can say im definetly keen for the xim edge you can see that the gt adapter is choking a little glad i got a chance to try it on the 360 to notice the difference.

Yeah checked too as there are some PS3 only games I would like to play. But even the used ones are too expensive for 6 yaer old hardware. Would pay 50 Euro not a cent more. lol

Just lowball on craigslist or ebay. 

Uncharted 2 and 3 are worth the price of admission alone.    =) 

(two is my favorite single player game ever, imho...)

you still can buy a broke ps3 and repair it, the older ps3 models had some major heat problems, there are youtube videos with people cooking eggs on it
the fix of such an overheat is very very cheat and easy to do if i recall it correctly

The "fat" PS3s were more prone to issues than the slims without question, but never were "major" like the unfortunate folks who RROD'd with their 360s. 

I have a launch unit at 60 gigs that YLODed on me (fixed for free by Sony), and have two more 80 gig fats from year 2 (one for upstairs and one for my brother in law) where neither ever shown issue. 

Statistically the PS3 has been a tank from a failure rate standpoint, fat or slim.  (As are the newer / cooler 360s if my info is correct.)  Good time to pick up a used "newer" model for anyone with either system if it's from the last 2 years, imho....

If you're into console gaming the PS3 is a must. A lot of great exclusives like Killzone, uncharted and Resistance. MAG, Twisted Metal, SOCOM, Starhawk and Payday are all worth checking.

Not to mention Move shooters. Time crisis and House of dead FTW!!!'

I'll always like Live over PSN so will always go for 360 games when I can.
